for all you that are not in the snow belt… how do you like what lake effect can do overnight?

most snow piles are 5-6ft tall… maybe next year I will learn to buy a snow blower…

lets see since April… alot of the projects around the house are complete, pictures uploaded to show whats been done. We finally got married went to Hawaii on our honeymoon. I promise more detailed updates … its one of those new years resolution thingys….

sorry for the lack of updates, warmer weather has gotten the better of me.

Spent a great deal of time digging out the old burning bushes along side of my house… last night Max & I got the last of the roots out. A job well done.

The theater room is back on track as well, all wires and parts have arrived for install. I have learned one lesson though when buying a projector mount just because the price is cheap and reviews state how wonderful a product is… its cheap for a reason. I swear the mount was made in China sent to Japan for packaging and instructions and then converted to english and sent to the US. The manual gives no mention to how the screws that hold the projector the the extention arm / base get setup. So right now I have a mount to the celing and a 5inch pipe that should hold the projector … but no clue how to get that to work… maybe after a few drinks the logic behind it will come to me….

Other than that not much is new … but we have snow coming tomorrow April 4th… going to be round till Easter..

well, finally a dream can become a reality, last week I purchased a Infocus IN24 projector.. a business projector but for my use it is the movie / tv / computer / game center, and it serves my needs well.

Saturday afternoon Matt & James 2 of my good friends came over to help me tear out old walls that were not needed - later would make up my cabinet for the pc, dvd, homezone, lcd etc. ( Picture is what we uncovered when doing demo I think James really enjoys the 50’s paper)

Once that was cleared and the rest of the old paneling was down it was time for some more work aka electric work and a big ole hole in the celing…

Last night was the fun of mounting the LCD monitor to the computer… what good will this serve?? Who really knows but it looks sweet … or rather it will when its painted up and trimmed out with a acrylic glass panel printed and lit from behind.  Yeah… thats right I dream BIG, on a small budget.

As I progress with this project I will update the blog with photos and usefull information that may just help you…

As I keep learning more and more about wordpress the more I find I like it. Strike that LOVE it, today I found out that I can integrate with other sites I go to and blog from them such as digg.com - awesome site for tech news and other interesting related news. Plus reddit.com can have a sidebar location with top stories there. Anyways I tend to ramble on techie stuff that I enjoy learning about. Thats it for now I think
